HOW TO GET THERE AND WHERE TO STAY

We want to make your journey to our wedding as smooth as possible! Below are some helpful details on how to get to our venue. We suggest arriving by Friday to give you time to settle in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before the big day. Visit the stunning Palma Cathedral, wander through the charming Old Town, or enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. We have included some our favorite restaurant spots further down.

Several airlines offer direct flights from Munich Airport (MUC) or Memmingen (FMM) to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), including Lufthansa, Eurowings, Condor and Ryanair. It's advisable to book in advance to get the best rates, especially as the 04th of June 2026 is a public holiday in Germany.

TRANSPORT OPTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT

BY TAXI

Taxis are waiting for you at the airport! Get ready for an exciting 15- minute ride to Palma city center, depending on traffic. And the best part? It only costs around €20-€25!

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Experience a smooth ride with the A1 Airport Bus, your direct

connection to the lively city center! Buses run every 15 minutes, taking just 25-30 minutes for around €5 per person.

BY RENTAL CAR

Multiple car rental companies are available at the airport. It's best to book in advance during peak times. The drive to Palma is easy and takes 15-20 minutes, but be aware of parking availability in the city center.

Once You're There

La Rosa Vermuteria

La Rosa Vermuteria is the place to be for tapas and vermouth in the heart of Palma, right on Plaça Weyler. It is a traditional local with a vanguard heart. Canned quality, tapas and portions of homemade and authentic food. Our absolute favorite Tapas restaurant in Palma. Please make a reservation prior you visit the restaurant.

Take a trip to Soller

The vintage railway is a must-see if you have a few days in Palma. A vintage railway that was originally used to transport citrus fruit and is now a major tourist attraction yet still retains its authentic Mallorcan charm.

Ca'n Costa Restaurant

The traditional restaurant Ca’n Costa Valldemossa has existed since 1975 and is a popular lunch destination, especially for Tramuntana travellers. The focus of this rustic restaurant is on the classics of Mallorcan cuisine: suckling pig, grilled rabbit, small fried squids and almond cake for dessert.

Riva Reno Gelateria

Close to the cathedral you will find the best ice cream in Mallorca at Riva Reno. Centrally located opposite the marina on the small market square you find the ice cream parlor. The ice cream is produced on site. Through windows you can take a look at the large ice cream machine - pretty impressive! Do yourself a favor and try their pistachio or chocolate sorbet. If you like to spoil you, get your ice cream cone filled with liquid chocolate.

Tramuntana Sierra

It is where the Tramuntana Sierra’s rugged mountains plunge into the sea, and picturesque villages perch on the slopes. You will drive on old paved mule tracks winding through wooded valleys, between olive and citrus groves terraces, and along the high trails above the coast.

Walk to the Cathedral & Old Town

One of the must-do experiences while in Mallorca is a walk through Palma’s stunning old town. Start your stroll at the iconic La Seu Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture overlooking the sea. From there, wander through the narrow, winding streets filled with historic buildings, charming boutiques, and local cafés. It’s the perfect way to soak up the island’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere.
